为了发展新型节能电机及节能技术，创始人自2001年起在天津电气传动设计研究所和马小亮教授的支持下相继成立：天津托马斯电机调速科技有限公司；北京华拿东方能源科技有限公司；广东华拿能源科技有限公司；广东上水能源科技有限公司，北京上水能源科技有限公司等，专业从事高效节能电机及智能控制技术的研究，在电机工业变革及智能控制领域取得了一定成就。
